The book "What Southern Women Know about Faith Kitchen Table Stories and Back Porch. Was all that I expected from Ronda Rich. A very good book for the women of faith to read and those who haven't given their hearts to God would enjoy it too.
I bought four more of these to give to family and friends. The book is fun and interesting and mentions some "Southern" customs that are worth hearing about. It is uplifting and gives support to the value of having "strong faith".
Really an exceptional book about growing up in the South when I was a young girl. I could relate easily to the stories told and things said by the author. It's a very sweet book about strong southern women.
This was a lovely book, written in the "Ronda Way", where you feel you're sitting with a girlfriend, chatting over a glass of tea.
Sharing our feelings on faith with others, what it means to us on the deepest level, can be difficult to express; it's possibly the most intensely personal part of our lives. Miss Rich not only was able to warmly share her views, she opened herself up completely, honestly leaving herself vulnerable to friend and foe alike.
This was warm, uplifting book whether your devoted child of God, or someone seeking a pleasant book on another's life experiences.
